We expect our shorthorn cows to perform right along with our commercial cows. We put our biggest emphasis on convenience traits like fertility and calving ability. Our next priority is maternal ability, i.e. mothering quickly and raising a big calf. Finally, we are working towards improving the carcass traits in our cattle to produce better beef for our farm-to-table program.
